The Okee Dokee Brothers Can You Canoe is such a fantastic album! We are so thankful to have discovered them. They speak to my soul. Hearing this album (even almost every day!) makes me smile, my boys (ages 7 and 3) smile, sing, dance and even want to learn more about our beautiful country!5/5().

This CD-DVD is the first release in their Adventure Album Series. Produced by Dean Jones in his Rosendale, NY, straw-bale studio, the record highlights guest appearances from Garth Hudson of The Band, Elizabeth Mitchell of You Are My Flower as well as Morgan Taylor and Rachel Loshak of Gustafer Yellowgold.

Oct 19,  · I received this CD in exchange for my honest review. I still remember hearing the Okee Dokee Brothers for the first time, with their Mississippi River Adventure Album. Since then, we have followed their award-winning albums as they explore the Appalachians and the West, so I was excited to see a Winterland album this Fall.

The Okee Dokee Brothers As childhood friends growing up in Denver Colorado, Joe Mailander and Justin Lansing were always exploring the outdoors. Whether it was rafting down their neighborhood creek or discovering hiking trails through the Rocky Mountains, Joe and Justin were born adventurers.
