Nearly two decades after the first volume, the second installment of the Beatles BBC recordings arrives and, like its predecessor, On Air: Live at the BBC, Vol. 2 condenses the Fab Four's voluminous BBC sessions into an easily digestible double-disc of highlights.

"Live On Air" (BBC Volume 2) is a very good album, both musically and historically. It comprises 40 musical tracks, 19 spoken intros/clips, and 4 bonus Pop Profile interviews. The re-mastered hi-fi quality is mostly very good, and the 48 page booklet is excellently presented/5().

On Air – Live At The BBC Volume 2 was released in two-CD set and gram vinyl versions. Both include a page booklet with an introduction by Paul McCartney and liner notes by BBC producer Kevin Howlett. There’s a lot of energy and spirit. We are going for it, not holding back at all, trying to put in the best performance of our lifetimes.
