   Piano Rags by Scott Joplin () A somewhat slower, more contemplative take on Joplin's work than the faster, giddier versions that are better-known these days, the 17 tracks on this CD are beautifully considered and oftentimes very moving. Gladiolus Rag and Scott Joplin's New Rag, in particular, are essential listening.
